Q. How is MA-T® used?

A. When used as a spray, spray directly onto the object or surface. (The product is more effective if sprayed from a distance of 15-20cm)

Q. How should I use MA-T® with fabrics?

A. Products like woolens and silks with care labels indicating they cannot be laundered at home, or those made with special dyeing or treatments may develop stains or discoloration. Perform a patch test on an area that is unnoticeable before use.
1. Spray from a distance of 20-30cm directly onto clothing until damp, then allow to dry completely.
2. Spray the product onto mattresses and pillows before hanging to dry. 3. Thoroughly clean or wash curtains and carpets before spraying.
4. The product can also be used to deodorize and mold-proof stuffed animals and cloth bags.
5. The product can also be used to disinfect and deodorize vehicle seats, steering wheels, and mats.
6. After spraying on cloth shoes, allow to thoroughly dry.

Q. Can the product be sprayed on pets?

A. MA-T® has undergone a range of tests to demonstrate its safety on the human body and is safe if it comes in contact with pets or is licked by them. However, MA-T® is not intended as a drug for animals, so any excess should be wiped off after spraying. The product should also not be used directly on mucous membranes.

Q. What is the suggested amount to use?

A. 1. The amount varies depending on the item, but the standard amount is 3 or 4 pumps (about 3ml) per square meter of space you want to deodorize, disinfect, or mold-proof. Spray directly on the surface from 20-30cm away. After spraying, allow the area to dry slightly, then use a cloth or rag to wipe away any excess. The product will remain effective even after wiping it up.
2. When used on surfaces subject to getting wet or friction, the MA-T® antibacterial and odor-eating substance may wear or peel off, so it may need to be applied more frequently. *Quantity is intended as an estimate only. Adjust accordingly depending on actual usage.

Q. Can a dryer or other heating device be used to dry the product after application?

A. Yes.

Q. Can the product be exposed to sunlight to dry it after application?

A. Yes. There are no problems with MA-T® being dried by direct sunlight.

Q. Can the product be used in a closed, unventilated room?

A. In order to use MA-T® most comfortably, it is recommend to be used in a well-ventilated area.

Q. Can MA-T® be transferred to another container?

A. The MA-T® container is designed to provide the optimal usage conditions for the product. It serves to enhance the spray quantity and shape of the mist created. Further, the container contains usage instructions and precautions, which should be referred to when using the product. Keeping the product in its original container will prevent misuse.

Q. Can the product be used in conjunction with other cleansers and/or chlorine-based products?

A. Avoid using in conjunction with other cleaners or mold removers. Combining with other products will cause the effectiveness of MA-T® to decrease. It could also produce a dangerous gas or change into a toxic substance, so do not use it with other products.

Q. When refilling the product, should the container be washed first?

A. No washing is necessary. Simply use clean hands when refilling the product.

Q. Can the product be used to disinfect kitchenware and cutting boards?

A. The product has been tested as safe in an accidental event of ingestion. However, it is not a food additive product, so when used on kitchenware and cutting boards, they should be rinsed thoroughly to remove any residue.

Q. Does MA-T® have an expiration date?

A. The product has a 24-month expiration date if kept in an unused state. If stored in a high-temperature location or left with the lid open for a long period of time, its effectiveness may decrease. Properly seal the container and store it in a cool, dry place away from direct sunlight in order to ensure its optimal performance. A product of which two-thirds has been used will keep for over six months and retain the same odor-eating and antibacterial functionality as a new product if properly stored. MA-T® has been blended for maximum longevity and safety. There is no need to dilute the product.

Q. Can the product be used on textiles that have waterproof, UV resistant, flame retardant, and other coatings on them?

A. Through tests, the product has been confirmed to be problem-free on all products except on those susceptible to water. Before use, perform a patch test on an area that is unnoticeable and check for staining or discoloration.

Q. Can the product be used on textiles with care labels indicating that they must be dry cleaned?

A. When using it on products other than those sensitive to water, such as silk, rayon, and acetate, first perform a patch test on an area of the fabric that is unnoticeable and check for shrinking, staining, or discoloration.

Q. Can the product be used on grass cloth wallpaper?

A. The product can be used on grass cloth wallpaper, but since dirt and other particles on the wallpaper may absorb the liquid and make ring stains, it is recommended to first test it on an area that is unnoticeable.

Q. Can the product be used to absorb odors in the refrigerator and prevent mold?

A. Yes, it can be used for those purposes. Please note that, per the Food Sanitation Act, MA-T® is not designed to come in contact directly with food, so all containers should be covered with a lid or plastic wrap.

Q. Will the product cause damage or decay with repeated use?

A. The corrosive properties of MA-T® have been tested on metals and resins and found to have a corrosiveness equivalent to water. If a product or substance is sensitive to water, it may be damaged.

Q. Will the product stain cloth and fabric?

A. Given the wide variety of textiles on the market, including some susceptible to water, it is recommended to perform a patch test on part of the fabric that is unnoticeable.

Q. What does PPM (parts per million) mean?

A. Parts per million refers to the level of dilution, measured in terms of 1/1M. For example, 100ppm means that the substance is diluted to 0.01% in purified water. 50ppm would mean that it is diluted to 0.005% in purified water.
